Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in CADD drafting, preferably in the AEC industry.
• High school diploma.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by the first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and Design Support: Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings, diagrams, and schematics using CADD software; turn conceptual designs into precise technical drawings; ensure accuracy and alignment with drafting standards.
• Software and Process Improvement: Use CADD software to optimize drafting speed and accuracy; stay updated on best practices and industry trends; identify opportunities to improve workflows.
• File Management and Documentation: Organize drawing files, project records, maintain revisions, and support maintenance of CADD libraries and resources.
• Quality Control and Standards Compliance: Ensure drawings comply with codes and company standards; perform self-checks to minimize errors.
• Project Coordination and Collaboration: Work with engineers and project managers to refine drawings; revise drawings based on feedback and project changes; support review prior to submission.
