Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a 3D Electrical Staff Designer for our Data Center Mission Critical Group, with locations across the U.S. The role focuses on creating/refining detailed drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT, performing site walkdowns, and collaborating with engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field with a minimum of 1 year of design engineering experience
• OR Associate’s Degree in related field with minimum 6 years of design engineering experience
• OR minimum of 10 years of experience
• Proficient with both 2D and 3D design software, AutoCAD and Revit is required, BIM360 preferred
• Working knowledge of basic engineering techniques, standards, and concepts for assigned engineering discipline; competent in basic concepts of other disciplines as they relate to the assigned discipline
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Electrical Design codes, standards, criteria, and design execution pertinent to various aspects of design
• Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs

Responsibilities

• Create and modify detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT; develop REVIT families
• Perform client site walkdowns and generate walkdown reports
• Review drawings and mentor junior designers; conduct self-checks for quality and safety
• Follow organizational safety policies and apply design standards
• Meet project time goals and support cross-functional teams with engineers
