ADVANCED FAMILY COUNSELING SERVICES in New Jersey seeks a CADC intern under supervision to evaluate, counsel, and case-manage adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues.

You will perform assessments, participate in treatment planning, provide individual and group therapy, coordinate with external agencies, and maintain accurate records in EHRs including NJSAMS.

Qualificações

• New Jersey CADC credential in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of SUD, the DSM-5, and 12-step or recovery principles.

Responsabilidades

• Clinical Assessments: Conduct standardized intake evaluations, including ASI, determine levels of care using ASAM criteria.
• Treatment Planning: Create individualized, recovery-oriented treatment plans with clients.
• Counseling: Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices like CBT and MAT.
• Case Management: Coordinate care with external entities and make community referrals.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate clinical records in EHR systems, including NJSAMS.
