Job summary

Oaks Integrated Care Inc. is seeking a CADC Counselor to support adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions in NJ. The role involves counseling in IOP/OP settings, completing comprehensive assessments, and coordinating with a multi-disciplinary team to promote recovery.

The position emphasizes client-centered treatment, linkage to MAT if desired, and adherence to regulatory standards. Candidates with a CADC license or in progress are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology or related field preferred.
• Licensed by the State of New Jersey as a CADC preferred; CADC-intern acceptable.
• One year of experience with behavioral health populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, family and group counseling at IOP/OP level of care using evidence-based treatment for SUD.
• Conducts assessments through the NJ intake system identifying strengths, barriers and needs.
• Develops recovery plans and links clients to MAT services if desired.
• Documents sessions thoroughly in the electronic care record and coordinates with a multi-disciplinary team.
