The State of Connecticut, Department of Transportation (CTDOT) seeks a Transportation Engineer 3 (Engineering) in the Digital Delivery Technology Unit at its Newington HQ to support BIM, CAD, and data-driven design for highway and bridge projects.

You will lead design support, develop 2D/3D models, and collaborate with BIM leaders nationwide, while mentoring staff and contributing to innovative digital delivery initiatives.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and three years of experience in transportation engineering.
• One year of the general experience must have been at the working level in a professional transportation engineering capacity.
• Possession of Professional Engineer (PE) is acceptable in substitutions.

• Oversees design work for bridges and foundations.
• Acts as liaison between the department and towns for engineering projects.
• Represents the department in legislative matters and reviews major design plans.
