Job summary

HNTB is seeking an entry-level Technician I to support bridge and roadway projects from our Central States office. You will prepare drawings with CAD, assist in data gathering, and help transfer information into final plans.

This role provides hands-on experience in transportation design and collaboration with engineers and project managers. Ideal candidates have an Associate of Science in Drafting or Technical School or 2 years of relevant experience, plus AutoCAD and/or MicroStation

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Drafting or Technical School, or 2 years of relevant experience.
• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience.
• Strong interest in transportation and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation of construction details, design plans, reports, and project materials using CAD software.
• Transfers information in numerical, written, and sketched or electronic format to final plans and maps.
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers to verify design details according to company standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
