Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a CAD Technician in metal fabrication, fencing, or construction preferred.
• Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software, with SolidWorks experience.
• Strong drafting and detailing skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and civil drawings.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain electronic CAD drawings and fabrication files.
• Develop detailed shop drawings, design details, site layouts, and submittals.
• Interpret and work from architectural, structural, and civil drawings and specifications.
• Produce accurate 2D and 3D models for fabrication and installation.
• Develop and maintain a library of standard drawings and drafting templates.
• Collaborate with estimating, engineering, fabrication, and project management teams.
• Identify design conflicts and propose practical solutions.
• Ensure drawings meet company standards and client requirements.
• Support project execution from concept through fabrication and installation.
