Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Lebanon, TN seeks a CAD Drafter to prepare and modify shop drawings per specifications and maintain product catalogs for production and QC.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Sales and Production to ensure drawings reflect the latest part drawings. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Inventor and a 2+ year track record are required; a High school diploma or Associates degree is preferred, with strong reading of sketches and plans.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AutoCAD/Autodesk Inventor experience.
• High school diploma or an Associates degree preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret sketches, construction, and civil plans.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic math.
• Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Create Shop Drawings of products using 2D or 3D drafting.
• Create special manufacturing drawings for immediate production.
• Adhere to customer volumes, timelines and expectations.
• Prepare, modify, and maintain accurate catalog drawings for production and QC.
• Prepare product assembly or shop drawings for sales staff and plant projects.
• Update/maintain digital database (Autodesk Vault, cloud server, hard copies).
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
