The Job

Our office in Houston, TX is looking for a full-time CAD Technician to join our growing team. This role will focus on the drafting of building related projects in the K-12/Higher Ed, retail, commercial, healthcare markets.

Here Are The Details Of Your Duties

• Drafting existing site and system conditions from Engineer’s field survey notes.
• Work in conjunction with supervising Engineer to draft HVAC system layouts, schedules, and details for a variety of projects.
• Work with internal/external Technicians/Designers/Engineers to coordinate building systems.
• Background and layer management.
  
  

Your Background

To succeed in this role, you need to meet the following basic requirements:

• Experience in an A/E/C environment designing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems (MEP)
• Knowledge of drafting techniques and MEP engineering terminology
• Efficient and accurate drafting with adherence to CAD standards
• High level of proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT design software
• High Level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Electronic Project File Management experience
• Excellent time management and an extremely high level of attention to detail
