Summary:

Platting CAD Operator performs non-technical drafting support for assigned projects using computer-aided drafting (CAD) software.

Responsibilities:

1. Create CAD drawings for subdivision plat drafting and provide CAD support for assigned projects.
2. Create and modify maps for special assignments.
3. Perform work based on sketches, verbal instructions, and notes.
4. Establish and maintain schedules and provide progress reports.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school or technical school training with courses in CAD or equivalent experience.
• 0-1 years of experience in AutoCAD.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills with coworkers.
• Preferred: Working knowledge of subdivision platting process.
• Preferred: Knowledge of subdivision rules and regulations for various agencies.
• Flexibility to adapt to changes in work assignments based on project needs.
