Job summary
Hanson Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Deputy CAD Administrator to oversee CAD standards, libraries, and workflows across design teams. The role supports users, troubleshoots issues, and helps scale CAD processes to improve project delivery.
The position offers hybrid or remote work options, with responsibilities spanning software installations, license coordination, and cross-discipline coordination to ensure consistent design practices and quality outcomes.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in CAD, Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related field.
- 5 to 10 years of CAD experience in a professional environment.
- Proficiency with MicroStation and Bentley OpenX and ProjectWise; AutoCAD/Civil3D/Revit a plus.
- Strong CAD standards, plotting, and file management understanding.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and communicate solutions clearly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enforce CAD standards, libraries, and best practices.
- Document CAD procedures and workflows; support quality reviews.
- Provide day-to-day CAD user support and onboarding.
- Assist with software installations, version updates, and licenses.
- Coordinate file management and project setup with IT and PMs.
- Support cross-discipline coordination and data exchange between CAD platforms.
