Job summary

Hanson Professional Services, Inc. seeks a Deputy CAD Administrator to oversee CAD design technology, maintain standards, and support project teams. You will help scale CAD processes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure consistent design practices across offices.

Location can be in any office, with hybrid or fully remote arrangements. The role emphasizes collaboration across civil, structural, electrical, and architectural disciplines and continuous workflow improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in CAD, Engineering Technology, drafting, or related field.
• 5–10 years of professional CAD experience.
• Proficiency with MicroStation and/or Bentley OpenX and/or ProjectWise.
• Strong CAD standards, plotting, and file management knowledge.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and communicate solutions clearly.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enforce CAD standards, libraries, and best practices.
• Document CAD procedures and workflows.
• Support quality control reviews for deliverables.
• Provide day-to-day CAD user support and troubleshoot issues.
• Assist with CAD training materials and sessions.
• Coordinate software installations, updates, and licenses.
• Assist with client Workspace deployment and data exchange.
• Evaluate new CAD tools and workflows to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and project teams to resolve CAD challenges.
• Support data environment and cross-discipline coordination.
• Identify opportunities to improve CAD workflows and automation.
