Job summary

Hanson Professional Services Inc. is seeking a Deputy CAD Administrator to oversee CAD standards, support users, and help improve CAD workflows. The role reports to the CAD Administrator and enables project delivery across our offices, with a hybrid or fully remote setup.

Responsibilities include maintaining CAD libraries, documenting procedures, coordinating software updates, and training staff. Collaboration with engineering, design, and project teams is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot CAD issues and support users
• Experience documenting procedures and guidelines
• Experience delivering CAD training materials and sessions
• Strong collaboration across engineering, design, and project teams

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and enforcing CAD standards, libraries, and best practices.
• Help document CAD procedures and workflows.
• Support quality control reviews to ensure deliverables meet standards.
• Provide day-to-day CAD user support including troubleshooting files and plotting.
• Assist onboarding with CAD profiles, permissions, and tools.
• Support CAD software installations, version updates, and license coordination.
• Coordinate file management and project setup with IT and PMs.
• Assist with client Workspace deployment and CAD workflow improvements.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve CAD challenges and data exchange.
