Job summary

CESO, Inc. is seeking a CAD Coordinator to support the CAD Manager in upholding CAD standards, managing resources, and providing technical helpdesk assistance across civil, structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines in a 500+ employee firm.

The role emphasizes standards integrity, file organization, and timely issue resolution. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of CAD production/support experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and familiarity with ACC/BIM 360.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting Technology, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on CAD production or support experience in an AEC environment.
• Experience supporting multiple design disciplines such as civil, structural, architectural, or MEP.
• Prior experience in a technical support or helpdesk capacity is strongly preferred.
• ACU or ACP in AutoCAD or related Autodesk product is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D are mandatory. Revit or MicroStation knowledge is a plus.
• Windows OS, network file systems, and CAD‑specific hardware troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ACC, BIM 360, or similar project collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist the CAD Manager in developing, maintaining, and enforcing company CAD standards and workflows.
• Manage CAD resources: templates, title blocks, CTB/STB files, linetypes, palettes, and sheet sets.
• Perform CAD file audits and quality control to ensure standards compliance.
• Enforce file naming conventions, folder structures, and archiving practices.
• Support project setup activities: sheet sets, reference files, and folder configuration.
• Serve as primary CAD helpdesk contact and troubleshoot issues.
• Manage CAD support requests and document resolutions.
• Escalate complex issues to CAD Manager or IT with clear steps.
• Coordinate with IT on workstation configurations and software deployments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
