Job summary

CESO, Inc. in Columbus, OH, is seeking a CAD Coordinator to support the CAD Manager and uphold CAD standards across a 500+ person multi-discipline firm. This role focuses on CAD standards integrity, file organization, and primary CAD helpdesk support for design staff.

The position requires strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a collaborative environment; hybrid work schedule is available.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting Technology, Engineering Technology, Architecture or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
• Minimum 3–5 years CAD production or support in an AEC environment.
• Experience supporting multiple design disciplines (civil, structural, architectural, MEP).
• ACU/ACP certification preferred; proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D mandatory; Revit or MicroStation a plus.
• Proficient in Windows OS, network file systems, and CAD hardware troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Assist CAD Manager in developing, maintaining, and enforcing CAD standards and workflows.
• Manage CAD libraries: templates, title blocks, CTB/STB files, linetypes, palettes, block libraries, sheet sets.
• Perform CAD file audits and quality control for standards compliance.
• Coordinate file naming, folder structures, and archiving with project teams.
• Support project setup: sheet sets, reference files, and folder configs.
• Serve as primary CAD helpdesk contact; troubleshoot errors and file issues.
• Track CAD support requests and document resolutions; escalate as needed.
• Coordinate CAD software deployments with IT and hardware needs.
