Job summary

Fairfield-Chair-Company is seeking an entry-level CAD & Product Development Technician to digitize upholstery patterns, create fabric markers, and produce plastic patterns with a plastic pattern machine after training. You will learn LECTRA CAD, pattern development, marker optimization, and upholstery manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn specialized software and equipment.

Responsibilities

CAD, Pattern Digitizing & Marker Creation: learn to operate LECTRA CAD; digitize patterns; create markers.
Product Development & Technical Documentation: assist with sewing specs, notes, and engineering changes.
Administrative & Material Costing Support: enter BOMs and track material usage.
Training & Continuous Improvement: develop proficiency and apply feedback to improve accuracy.
