Job summary

Bradington-Young is seeking a detail-oriented Pattern Digitizer to join our Product Development team. This role converts physical upholstery patterns into accurate digital files using CAD digitizing software, supporting the cutting and production of our upholstered furniture.

You will work with Product Development, Cutting, and Sewing to ensure patterns are organized, digitized correctly, and ready for production, emphasizing accuracy, measurements, and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, upholstery or pattern work preferred.
• Experience with pattern digitizing or CAD software is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and train in our processes.

Responsibilities

• Digitize physical upholstery patterns into accurate digital files using CAD software.
• Ensure digitized patterns reflect original shapes, dimensions, markings, and specs.
• Review patterns for accuracy and apply corrections as needed.
• Create, update, and maintain digital pattern files for new and existing styles.
• Organize digital pattern libraries with clear labeling for easy access.
• Assist in preparing digitized patterns for automated cutting systems.
