Job summary

Flexsteel Industries is seeking an experienced pattern maker/cad operator to support leather cutting and pattern development. The role involves creating markers, setting match points on digitized patterns, and programming cut files for a multi-ply cutting system.

You will collaborate with product design and manufacturing teams to drive continuous improvement and standardization across processes. The position emphasizes problem solving, data gathering, and applying industrial engineering

Qualifications

• Experience with Pattern Marking or CAD software.
• Ability to set match points on digitized pattern components and generate match markers/cut files.
• Program cut files for a multi-ply cutting system.
• Assist with basic pattern design functions including modification of digitized pattern components, markers, cut files, etc.

Responsibilities

• Create files and components for leather cutting demands.
• Load cutting and usage information into AS400 when needed.
• Support design and manufacturing teams with troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
