Qualifications

• 5+ years CAD drafting experience on SUE and utility mapping for DOT projects.
• 3+ years leading CAD technicians.
• Proven ability to delegate, manage workload, and meet deadlines.
• Experience training and mentoring CAD staff.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including surfaces and templates.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of CAD technicians across multiple projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Train and mentor CAD staff on Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, ArcGIS, and SUE deliverables.
• Develop training programs and onboarding materials for CAD staff.
• Provide feedback, set performance goals, and participate in staffing decisions.
• Forecast workload and coordinate with project managers and department leadership.
• Oversee QA/QC of CAD drawings and deliverables.
