This role leads a team of CAD technicians producing SUE and utility mapping deliverables in AutoCAD Civil 3D for DOT, land development, renewable energy, and public utilities projects. Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of CAD drafting experience on SUE, utility mapping, and survey.
• 3+ years leading or managing a CAD team.
• Proven ability to delegate, manage workload, and meet deadlines.
• Experience training CAD staff of varying experience levels.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, surfaces, alignments, templates, and styles.

Aufgaben

• Manage a team of CAD technicians across multiple projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Train and mentor CAD staff on Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, ArcGIS, and CAD standards.
• Develop training programs, onboarding plans, and reference materials for new and existing CAD staff.
• Oversee QA/QC of drawings and deliverables before submittal.
• Lead development of AutoCAD automation tools (LISP, scripts, Dynamo) to improve speed and consistency.
• Coordinate with project managers and field staff on project needs and schedules.
• Maintain and enforce company CAD standards and templates.
