Qualifications

• Strong Solidworks proficiency is mandatory.
• Proficient in creating technical drawings, renderings, and cut files in CAD/3D modeling software.
• Interprets project conception based on sketches, renderings, and/or other information.
• Produces technical drawings, renderings, and 3D models according to project budget and fabrication requirements.
• Exhibits knowledge of hardware and various sheet goods and their applications.
• Familiar with Bednark's fabrication, finishing, CNC machining, and tooling capabilities.
• Aims to learn basic kinetic and automation engineering and ballast calculations.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and distribute technical drawings and cut files for assigned projects.
• Interpret project conception based on sketches, renderings and/or other provided information.
• Create technical drawings, renderings, and 3D models according to project budget, fabrication capabilities, finishing capabilities, and installation requirements.
• Exhibit knowledge of home building hardware, cabinetry hardware, and related tradeshow hardware.
• Demonstrate knowledge of standard & special wood, metal, and plastic-based engineered sheet goods.
• Maintain detail and solution-oriented approach throughout the drafting process.
• Strive to learn basic kinetic and automation engineering and ballast calculations.
