Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuit of certificate, Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in CAD, Engineering Tech, or related degree.
• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary or technical program related to the department work.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.
• Active involvement in campus, community or other activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn, with ability to grow in the field.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Revise existing drawings and prepare drawings of basic components from instructions or sketches.
• Plot drawings and ensure compliance with company and client drafting standards.
• Learn and follow drafting practices within a chosen discipline and assist with project tasks.
• Participate in multiple market segments and locations as assigned.
