Job summary

MacLean Power Systems (MPS) seeks a Drafter Designer to develop CAD models and detailed drawings that support prototypes, final designs, production and quality specifications. You will collaborate with development, programming and manufacturing engineers to bring concepts to production, while maintaining CAD files and ensuring data integrity in the Product Data Management system.

Qualifications

Accreditation from a technical school or skilled trades program.
0–2 years of related experience.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions.

Responsibilities

Develop CAD models and drawings to support prototypes, final design, manufacturing and quality specs.
Create 3D CAD models and detailed drawings for product development.
Assist engineers with troubleshooting and testing activities.
Prepare layouts and assembly drawings; take project from concept to production release.
Maintain CAD files and verify data in the Product Data Management system.
Ensure accuracy of product specifications and documentation.
Adhere to 5S standards and safety, environmental, and quality policies.
