Royal Switchgear seeks a Drafter/Designer to develop CAD models and engineering drawings supporting prototypes, production release, and quality specs. You will create 3D models and detailed drawings for new and existing products, and help translate concepts into manufacturable designs.

Under supervision, you will assist engineers with testing, process development, and documentation while maintaining CAD files and BOMs in the Product Data Management system.

Formación

• Accreditation from a technical school or skilled trades program required.
• 0 to 2 years of related experience.
• Basic mathematical and measurement understanding.

Responsabilidades

• Develop CAD models and detailed drawings to support prototypes, production, and quality specifications.
• Create 3D CAD models and documentation for product development.
• Assist with troubleshooting from production and prototypes.
• Prepare bill of materials for production.
• Maintain CAD files and manage data changes in the PDM system.
• Ensure accuracy of product data and documentation.
• Adhere to 5S, safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
