Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Pleasanton, CA is seeking an experienced CAD Drafter to prepare and modify drawings per specifications and customer requirements. You will maintain accurate catalog drawings and digital library for the website, and collaborate with engineers, sales, production, and quality control to ensure alignment with latest shop drawings.

The role requires 2+ years with AutoCAD/Autodesk Inventor, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong reading of sketches and civil plans.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AutoCAD/Autodesk Inventor experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret sketches, construction, and civil plans.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong attention to detail.
• Detail oriented and able to manage several projects end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Create Shop Drawings of products using 2D or 3D drafting.
• Create special manufacturing drawings for immediate production.
• Adhere to internal and external volumes, timelines and expectations.
• Prepare, modify, and maintain catalog drawings for production and QC.
• Prepare product assemblies or shop drawings for sales staff and plant projects.
• Update/maintain digital database (Autodesk Vault, cloud server, etc.).
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
