Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a CAD Drafter to prepare and modify drawings per specifications and customer requirements at our Pleasanton, CA plant. You will maintain catalog drawings and digital libraries for the website while working closely with the Division Engineer, Sales, Production and Quality Control to ensure builds follow latest drawings.

The role requires creating 2D/3D shop drawings, maintaining documentation, and supporting production with accurate manufacturing drawings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience with AutoCAD/Autodesk Inventor.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret sketches, construction, and civil plans.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Create Shop Drawings of products using 2D or 3D drafting.
• Create special manufacturing drawings for immediate production.
• Adhere to internal and external volumes, timelines and expectations.
• Prepare, modify, and maintain accurate catalog drawings for production and Quality Control.
• Prepare product assembly or shop drawings for sales staff and plant projects.
• Update/maintain digital database (Autodesk Vault, cloud server, hard copies).
• Other duties as assigned.
