Job summary
Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a CAD Drafter to prepare and modify drawings per specifications and customer requirements. You will maintain catalog drawings and a digital library for the website, collaborating with the Division Engineer, Sales, Production and Quality Control to ensure the product aligns with latest shop drawings.
The role focuses on creating 2D/3D shop drawings, maintaining accurate drawings, and updating the digital database.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with AutoCAD/Autodesk Inventor or equivalent CAD software.
- Ability to read and interpret sketches, construction, and civil plans.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Create Shop Drawings of products using 2D or 3D drafting.
- Create special manufacturing drawings for immediate production.
- Adhere to customer volumes, timelines and expectations.
- Prepare, modify, and maintain accurate catalog drawings for production and QC.
- Prepare product assembly or shop drawings for sales staff and plant projects.
- Update/maintain digital database (Autodesk Vault, cloud server, hard copies).
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
