Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a CAD Drafter to prepare and modify drawings per specifications and customer requirements. You will maintain accurate catalog drawings and a digital library for the website, working closely with the Division Engineer, Sales, Production and Quality Control to ensure products align with latest shop drawings.

The role is based in North Carolina plants (Raleigh, Greensboro, Fuquay Varina, Fayetteville, or Concord).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with AutoCAD/Autodesk Inventor
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
• Ability to read and interpret sketches, construction, and civil plans

Responsibilities

• Create Shop Drawings of products using 2D or 3D drafting
• Create special manufacturing drawings for immediate production
• Adhere to customer volumes, timelines and expectations
• Prepare, modify, and maintain catalog drawings for production and Quality Control
• Prepare product assembly or shop drawings for sales staff and plant projects
• Update/maintain digital database, Autodesk Vault, cloud server, hard copies and engineering documents
• Other duties as assigned
