Job summary

Trane Technologies in Lexington, KY is seeking a Designer III to join a high-performing product development team for Commercial Airside HVAC. You will draft and design equipment and systems that meet customer requirements, and manage documentation.

You will work with engineering to create parts and assemblies in Creo Parametric, produce designs and documentation, and ensure compliance with standards. The role requires 3–6 years' experience and an associate degree.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of design experience in mechanical/electrical product development.
• Experience with Creo Parametric and drafting standards.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Work with Engineering to create parts, assemblies, and layouts in Creo Parametric.
• Produce and develop designs and documentation using CAD and PLM systems.
• Create supporting documentation across multiple systems and applications.
• Adhere to design and drafting standards, tolerances, GD&T, and BOM processes.
• Direct tasks on projects and manage schedules with senior guidance.
