Job summary

Fillauer is seeking a CAD/CAM Programmer / CNC Machinist IV for advanced prototyping and manufacturing innovation. You will collaborate with Engineering on design-for-manufacturability, develop and optimize processes, and contribute to first-article builds for orthotic and prosthetic product lines.

The role requires 8+ years of CNC experience, mastery of CAM software, and the ability to work autonomously within established procedures, mentoring others and supporting continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive CNC machining experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade certificate preferred.
• Valid driver's license and driving record per policy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering on DFMs and process development.
• Program complex parts using CAM software and edit G-code.
• Design fixtures and optimize tooling for new materials.
• Lead first-article inspections and support process development.
• Mentor machining team and document learnings.
