Job summary

Wichita State University’s NIAR CAD/CAM lab is seeking a Business Analytics student assistant for administrative and technical tasks. The position is on-site, part-time, and requires working around class schedules.

The student will support project management, documentation, and logistics while gaining hands-on experience across campus operations. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, strong communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Products.
• Have great attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
• Able to work 20+ hours per week.
• Ability to work independently on extensive task.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily administrative and operational support to the Project Manager and program management team.
• Project Support: track task timelines, action items, and milestones; maintain project records.
• Documentation: prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, organize files and documentation.
• Administrative Logistics: coordinate calendars, meetings, travel authorizations, expense reports, purchases.
• Data Entry & Tracking: update project data, task updates, and metrics as directed.
