Job summary

Wichita State University NIAR ATLAS lab is seeking a part-time Program Management Assistant to support the Program Manager with schedules, milestones, and data handling on-site at the Wichita, KS campus.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced research environment. Familiarity with MS Project/Jira/Trello/3DEXPERIENCE and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of project management lifecycle phases or engineering design workflows.
• Excellent technical written and oral communication skills to interact professionally with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and an ability to execute tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Manager in updating project schedules, tracking milestone completions, and monitoring action items.
• Organize, archive, and route engineering project data, customer deliverables, and compliance records.
• Coordinate meeting logistics, prepare agendas, and take highly accurate, technical meeting minutes for client and research review teams.
• Help compile internal project status metrics, charts, and presentation decks for leadership reviews.
• Serve as an internal point of contact to follow up with multidisciplinary engineering teams on overdue project inputs.
• Perform general operational and office administration tasks as assigned to streamline laboratory operations.
