Responsibilities

• Recruit and train childcare centers staff and family childcare providers.
• Conduct on-site monitoring reviews of childcare centers and in-home reviews of family childcare providers.
• Provide technical assistance and customer service to ensure program requirements are met.
• Review and process all required paperwork.
• Monitor and process disallowances on monthly claims.
• Train providers on the Minute Menu system.
• Conduct and report outreach activities for childcare centers and family childcare providers.
• Conduct and report center and provider resource distribution.
• Maintain organized electronic files for each childcare center and family childcare provider.
• Develop and maintain community contacts to increase CACFP awareness and resources.
• Maintain knowledge of CACFP regulations and related policies.
• Submit timely weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reports to supervisors.

Founded in 1970, Children's Hunger Alliance (CHA) is a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to ending childhood hunger, collaborating with organizations throughout Ohio to provide nutritious meals to at-risk children who need them most. CHA partners with in-home childcare providers, childcare centers, afterschool, and summer programs to provide balanced, nutritious meals to children in their care. Additionally, they work with schools to increase breakfast participation and provide weekend meals to students.
