Job summary

Akima Intra-Data at Arnold AFB seeks a customer service professional to issue Common Access Cards (CAC) and other DoD credentials to military personnel, retirees, dependents, civilians and contractors, ensuring proper verification and privacy.

The role uses Air Force systems to issue, update and revoke CACs, explain policies, and manage sensitive data, all on-site with a focus on security, compliance and reliable visitor access.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen as a prerequisite.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
• Must have at least a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Verify and issue DoD credentials to military, retirees, dependents, DoD civilians and base contractor personnel.
• Use Air Force systems to issue the Common Access Card (CAC).
• Update CACs to reflect changes in personal information.
• Terminate CACs and execute revocation requests as needed.
• Explain military ID policies and entitlements to customers.
• Issue other base access credentials to visitors such as vendors and test customers.
• Maintain security and privacy of DoD forms and personnel data.
