Job summary

Magellan Health is seeking an ID Card Specialist (Personnel Assistant II) to support Navy ICA programs at San Diego installations. You will certify DoD beneficiaries’ eligibility, issue CACs, and manage DEERS updates, under strict DoD regulations and DMDC standards.

The role requires a High School diploma, strong customer service skills, and experience with MS Office. U.S. citizenship and a Tier 3 security investigation are expected for this position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years’ experience in a Customer Service environment.
• HR background in Military Pay, Military Personnel, Travel Claims or Navy Transportation.
• Substitutions for HR background can be from private sector or other Federal Agency.
• Proficient in both oral and written communication.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• US citizenship and Tier 3 (NACLC) security adjudication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides ID Card services and customer support at Navy installations (DEERS/RAPIDS).
• Operates DEERS/RAPIDS terminals as a Verifying Official for DoD beneficiaries.
• Verifies identity and eligibility and issues DoD Identification Cards.
• Maintains RAPIDS equipment and answers customer inquiries.
• Performs DEERS enrollments, updates, and PKI certificate verifications.
