What You'll Do

• Install, service, reconnect, and troubleshoot Cable TV, High-Speed Internet, Telephone Services, Fiber to the Home (FTTH), Home Automation & "Cox Home Life Security"
• Educate customers on services and equipment
• Promote additional Cox products and solutions
• Deliver excellent customer service as a front‑line brand representative
• Perform work to IES quality and productivity standards

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Valid state driver’s license with a good driving record
• 21 years of age preferred, but not required
• Must be able to obtain a Sheriff Card and/or LVMPD License
• 1+ year of experience in a comparable hands‑on field (construction trades, mechanics, semi‑skilled manufacturing, or other related technical or trade roles)
• 1+ year of direct customer service experience
• Basic PC and Windows software skills
• Stable work history
• Ability to work required shifts and overtime as needed
• Ability to work 10-12+ hour days
• Willingness to work a flexible, non‑traditional schedule, including 5-6 day work weeks
• Strong communication skills; ability to work effectively with customers and team members
• Spanish language skills a plus in some locations

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Post‑high school education a plus
• Prior experience in construction, mechanics, manufacturing, or other hands‑on trade roles

Physical Requirements

• Ability to carry and operate tools and equipment
• Ability to inspect, install, repair, and document materials and equipment
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
• Ability to distinguish different wire colors
• Ability to communicate in person and by telephone
• Ability to bend, stoop, crawl, and kneel
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, including carrying and positioning a 28‑foot extension ladder
• Ability to climb ladders and/or utility poles and work at heights
• Ability to work in confined spaces (crawl spaces and attics)
• Ability to tolerate temporary exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and extreme non‑weather‑related heat
