Job summary

TEK Systems in Groveport, OH is seeking an entry-level Cable Technician to start a hands-on career on a large-scale data center project. No advanced certifications are required; you will gain experience by performing practical cabling tasks and learning installation practices.

You will pull, route, label network cabling, assist with terminations, and support testing and troubleshooting alongside experienced technicians. This contract-to-hire role offers onsite shifts.

Shift Options

1st Shift

7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

2nd Shift

1:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Candidates with flexibility to work either shift are preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work on ladders and at varying heights
• Comfortable working in construction and data center environments
• Ability to lift and carry materials when needed
• Must be able to distinguish cable colors and read labels

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Groveport, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
