Job summary

TEKsystems in Conroe, TX is seeking mechanically inclined technicians to assemble and install equipment racks in a data center or telecom environment. You will use hand tools to mount hardware, perform basic cable management, and support rack-and-stack activities onsite.

The role is contract, entry level, with a pay range of $20.00–$25.00 per hour. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and more, with eligibility depending on employment terms.

• Rack and stack of servers, switches, routers, and UPS equipment
• Cable dressing, routing, bundling, and labeling
• Copper and fiber patching experience
• Installation of grounding and bonding systems
• Running and terminating low-voltage cable
• Site preparation and material handling
• Quality control and punch list completion
• Troubleshooting physical connectivity issues

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
