TEKsystems in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Level 1 technician (helper) for a data center environment. The ideal candidate is trainable, with a proven work ethic, dependability, and attendance; telecom experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities include pulling cable on site, organizing racks, labeling, and porting. This contract role is fully on-site with a focus on physical, hands-on tasks and safety.

Description

Level 1 technician (helper) with not much telecom experience. The hiring manager wants someone who is trainable with experience working a physically demanding job in the past. Work ethic and attitude are the main thing they are looking for as they will be working at a data center. Dependability and attendance are crucial as well.

Technicians will be pulling cable on site, stacking and drillings racks together, labeling, and porting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of FT Wayne, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
