Job summary

Hellenic Cables Americas, expanding its Baltimore operation, seeks a Technical Inside Sales Engineer to support the commercial team by preparing technical and commercial offers and coordinating customer inquiries. This onsite role reports to the Director of Business Development in a growing U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in technical sales support or inside sales in a technical, specification-driven industry.
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and apply technical specifications and drawings; experience with wire/cable is a plus.
• Commercial and product knowledge with the ability to translate requirements into competitive offers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical and commercial offers for cables, cable systems, and turnkey project inquiries.
• Review customer specifications and requirements for compliance with products and standards.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, and production to gather data, pricing, and lead times.
• Support Regional Sales Managers with quotations, documentation, and follow-up actions.
• Manage RFQs and tender documentation through SAP and internal systems.
• Provide technical clarification to customers and distributors on product capabilities.
