Job summary

GCG Data Center Solutions seeks a Quoting & Purchasing Specialist to manage quoting and purchasing for cable assemblies and related infrastructure. You will review RFQ packages, interpret drawings, coordinate costing, confirm quantities, and prepare quote information for Engineering review.

Hybrid work from our Rosemont, IL headquarters is offered. You will work with Sales Support, Customer Service, and Engineering to ensure quotes are accurate and complete, load BOMs, and manage the quote log

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in cable assembly, manufacturing, engineering, or technical customer service.
Knowledge of cable assembly processes and product technologies preferred.
Experience communicating with customers and suppliers; able to read drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Review customer RFQ packages and prepare quote information for Engineering review and submittal.
Coordinate costing for cable assemblies and related products.
Review, confirm, and organize quote data for accuracy and completeness; update quote logs.
Interpret prints, drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
Load BOMs, routings, and raw materials for new products; manage quote meetings as needed.
Support production-related purchasing and other department needs as workload allows.
