Job summary

TPC Wire & Cable Corp. is seeking an R&D Engineer to blend technical design with manufacturing management. You will be responsible for writing product specifications, producing technical drawings, and ensuring manufacturers produce cables to specifications.

This role collaborates closely with various departments including Product Management and Quality. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred, with at least 2 years of relevant experience. The position is based in Macedonia, OH, with a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or R&D.
• Strong ability to write technical specifications.
• Hands-on experience with qualification testing.
• Experience in managing supplier quality.

Responsibilities

• Write clear cable specifications covering all requirements.
• Lead product development projects for voltage products.
• Communicate technical requirements to suppliers.
• Evaluate material and process tradeoffs with Sourcing.
• Provide technical support for sales and marketing.
