Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in wire and cable product development or industrial manufacturing.
• Proven expertise in managing complex projects using structured stage-gate methodologies.
• Deep understanding of polymer processing, material qualification, and industrial compounding technologies.

Responsibilities

• Drive the end-to-end lifecycle of new product designs, from initial prototyping to successful market commercialization.
• Execute plant-scale experimental trials to validate process feasibility and optimize manufacturing readiness.
• Manage complex product qualification projects, ensuring alignment with international certification standards such as UL, ETL, and CSA.
• Champion Design-to-Manufacturing strategies to improve production efficiency and achieve right-the-first-time outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives that enhance profitability.
• Partner with material science experts to evaluate and integrate advanced polymers and innovative compounds into our product lines.
• Maintain rigorous project oversight, tracking milestones and communicating across engineering and supply chain.
