Prysmian Group in Kentucky is seeking a Product Development Engineer to drive the development, testing, and qualification of new cable products. You will work with R&D, manufacturing, and customers on design, trials, and qualification.

The role involves managing UL/ETL/CSA/ISO submissions, cost-saving initiatives, and product vitality improvements. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to succeed in a dynamic, manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, Polymer or Materials Science or related area.
• Experience in industrial or application engineering preferred.
• Knowledge of polymer processing preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare product development designs for new or enhanced products.
• Assess plant capabilities related to new product development.
• Prepare sample/test plans for manufacturing qualification and third-party approvals.
• Maintain design documentation for factory-level trials and product development.
• Coordinate with Materials Development Labs to approve new materials.
• Create and update product designs and costings.
