Job summary

Prysmian USA in Lawrenceburg, KY is hiring a Production Line Operator to oversee extrusion/stranding lines for high-quality cable production. You will start up machines, manage changeovers, and perform preventative maintenance while ensuring safety and efficiency on a 12-hour night shift schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or warehouse roles.
• Ability to pass a skills test, background check, and drug screening.
• Visual ability to distinguish 12 basic colors.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and manually roll reels up to 800 lbs.
• Comfortable working 12-hour shifts with physical movement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plastic extrusion or stranding lines to ensure high-quality, timely cable production.
• Perform machine startups, changeovers, and preventative maintenance.
• Conduct measurement checks to meet quality standards.
• Report production issues and equipment concerns proactively.
• Follow all safety and regulatory guidelines.
