Advanced Digital Cable, Inc. in Hayesville, NC, is seeking a detail-oriented Extruder Assistant to join our high-technology manufacturing team.

You will support the Lead Operator on a fast-paced line that creates protective jackets for wires and cables, ensuring products meet exact specifications. Daily tasks include coordinating Take-Up reels, verifying wall thickness with calipers, and programming inkjet systems to apply safety codes and branding.

Qualifications

• Operational excellence in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Machine coordination: manage Take-Up reels and maintain proper tension for shipping readiness.
• Precision testing: verify cable wall thickness with calipers to ensure safety and performance.
• Digital branding: program inkjet systems to print safety codes and branding on the jacket.
• Quality verification: ensure cables meet exact specifications, are labeled correctly, and packaged securely.
