Venture Hire Group LLC is seeking a skilled Cable Design Engineer to develop and document cable assemblies for complex aerospace, defense, and rugged industrial systems. You will own the cable design from concept through documentation, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure reliability and manufacturability.

The role requires hands-on experience with 3D CAD, cable routing, and adherence to IPC-A-620 and ASME Y14.5 standards, along with strong collaboration and project scheduling

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years with interconnect and cable assembly manufacturers.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling; SolidWorks a plus.
• Experience with military specs and rugged environments.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-620 and ASME Y14.5.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Create cable designs based on customer requirements and specs.
• Model 3D cable harnesses in CAD to optimize routing and lengths.
• Define wiring requirements for signal integrity and grounding.
• Generate BOMs, drawings, and ECNs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to ensure manufacturability.
• Lead design reviews and support customer calls.
• Develop best practices and documentation standards.
