Job summary

The role requires deep experience with Capital Harness or Xpedition, strong power distribution and grounding knowledge, and the ability to work across systems and manufacturing while maintaining configuration control and meeting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with 9+ years of electrical engineering or test engineering experience.
• Graduate Degree with 7+ years or 13 years of experience without a degree.
• Experience in aerospace/defense is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, review, integration, and support of cable harness assemblies and interconnect solutions for complex flight hardware.
• Own detailed interconnect definitions, cable drawings, wire lists, and related documentation with traceability and manufacturability in mind.
• Translate system requirements into robust interconnect designs, covering conductor selection, grounding, shielding, and connectors.
• Independently initiate and drive work within the cable and interconnect area with minimal oversight.
• Provide day‑to‑day technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers.
• Lead change impact assessments and develop implementation approaches to minimize risk.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and test teams to resolve interface issues.
• Support and lead design reviews and root‑cause investigations of interconnect hardware.
• Promote best practices, standard work, and reusable design approaches.
• Maintain high standards of technical judgment, ownership, and communication throughout the lifecycle.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
