Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Sector / Manufacturing seeks a Cable Assembly Test Technician to build, test, troubleshoot, and repair cable assemblies per engineering drawings and work instructions. Responsibilities include coordinating with design and manufacturing engineers to anticipate issues and ensure quality.

Candidates must have a HS diploma/GED with relevant experience and be able to obtain a Final Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma/GED with 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with tools used during cable assembly.
• Tests cables for continuity, shorts, dielectric standing voltage, and insulation resistance.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain/maintain Final Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build, troubleshoot, and repair cable assemblies.
• Interpret engineer drawings, electrical schematics, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to foresee and mitigate assembly issues.
• Perform basic troubleshooting to identify faults in signals and connectivity.
