Job summary

Leidos is hiring a Cable Assembly Technician at their Defense Systems Electronic Manufacturing Facility. The role involves building, troubleshooting, and repairing cable assemblies for various customers, including the Department of Defense.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and 1-3 years of relevant experience. Certifications in IPC/WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001 are preferred. Leidos offers competitive compensation based on experience and additional benefits, including a sign-on bonus for 2nd shift candidates.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in cable building and/or electrical/mechanical assembly.
• Working knowledge of specialized tools and equipment.
• U.S. Citizen with current Final Secret Clearance or eligibility.

• Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop assembly strategies.
